A Texas native, Abby completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at Pepperdine University followed by her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences in California. Certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, she has experience in gastroenterology, emergency medicine, pain management and family medicine.
Abby joined Sonoran Gastroenterology in October 2021 and her interests include fatty liver disease, colon cancer screening and prevention, IBS, and general gastrointestinal diseases. She works closely with each physician, providing care, diagnostic evaluation, and education to patients with gastrointestinal concerns. She places high value on the physician-patient relationship and the empowerment of patients to understand their disease processes and be active in their health management.
In her free time, Abby enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, baking with sourdough, and spending time with family.
